    What's for Dinner and Why Should I Care?


    For companies who strive to build a culture of health and wellness by offering valuable, practical and inspiring information to its employees on premise, iBeamforLife and Nourish Restaurant offer you Lunch & Learn.

    It’s an informative and engaging lunchtime program focused on helping your employees break out of the box and think about their food choices in a fresh new way. We help them explore the possibilities. Assumptions about what makes for a fun, healthy meal will give way to new understanding about what’s good for you, easy to make, delicious, and guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser! We’ll help attendees get to the bottom of what’s been holding dinner time up. No shame. No judgement. Just fun and informative.

    Attendees will learn:
    • how to rethink food and how to make delicious, healthy and fulfilling meals
    • what factors may be influencing the food choices we eat every day
    • how to make change, experiment and have fun with a variety of foods with a focus on simple, whole foods
    • how to build a better balanced plate
    • what new foods to introduce as staples at home, ensuring no one runs from the room screaming
    • about helpful and easy to use resources and recipes

    Format
    An interactive and informative presentation and discussion. Includes light healthy lunch.

    Presenters
    Karen Masterson has spent her career dedicated to food, sustainability and social justice issues. She opened Nourish Restaurant in Lexington, MA in 2009 to provide locally, responsibly- sourced / respectfully-priced food in a full-service atmosphere that focuses on art and music. Prior, Karen opened Big Fresh Cafe in 2003 in Framingham, a casual restaurant offering well-sourced food at reasonable prices. She is passionate about educating people, building community, and putting in the hard work to help change our current food system. And she knows how to cook—always keeping it fun and tasty.

    Joe Wheeler founded iBeamforLife, a personal nutrition coaching program, to inspire and empower people to change the way they eat and live and find the best in themselves. An entrepreneur with a deep belief in the transformative power of food, Joe has been blazing trails to better overall health and well-being by drawing upon a number of disciplines that derive strength and renewal from the exploration of the mind, body, and spirit. iBeamforLife was born of his passion to help people understand how to take charge of what’s good for them and live longer, happier, healthier lives.
